A modular typeface with 21 weights and eight styles that can be layered to create endless possibilities
Modulo is a layered geometric typeface designed on a 128 units square grid. All 21 weights and 8 styles are defined algorithmically according to simple rules.
Because all letterforms are contained in a square, they all share the same metrics for easy layering. Theoretically speaking, the possibilities are endless.
Modulo is the perfect solution for fast, reliable output of bespoke display text.
Some of the background calculations were needed to make sure the font's different weights were going to fit on the grid.
